Eichel having beef with Murray is justified after the way he reacted after they lost the McDavid lottery and Eichel was thought of as a consolation prize.

Maybe Eichel could respond to adversity by playing well too? It goes both ways, he's been a decent player for sure but he's also been very outspoken since entering the league. Most of his interviews sound like temper tantrums to me.

60 games of playing well means you can have a coach/GM fired? Good message to send. I wonder how it is that Dan gets Crosby/Malkin to buy in, but can't get through to Eichel?

... Crosby wanted bylsma out of pit; Sounds like he was tolerated when they won. Can't see Bylsma getting another gig for a while, players really don't like him.

He won a cup when he took over mid season, never got to a cup final again. sure they were always good, but never won the conference again

I really don't buy the Eichel getting Bylsma fired bit. It's a convenient angle for analysts the same way they focused on Crosby when Disco Dan got fired from Pittsburgh but I imagine the owners aren't super happy either, hence the firing of Murray as well. Buffalo is looking at the success Toronto and Edmonton have had after bottoming out and then looking at where they are and are bitter as hell about it.

Pegula wanted murray to can Bylsma and Murray said no, so Pegula cleared house. Pegula wants a happy Eichel.

He really is having a terrible track record owning teams with the Sabres and Bills...
