It's kind of too bad you and I are so far behind the next pack of teams...we're pretty much a given to finish 29th and 30th...only 6 weeks left in the regular season. Odds are that I will finish last. Any regrets on trading that pick? You definitely didn't make a climb like you were hoping. I think we fell behind too much too early and we just don't have teams capable of going on hot streaks.

I was sitting at 2 wins going into the weekend but had a nice little rally on Sunday to steal a couple other categories...+/- and Tyrell got me a GWG. I've got the Isles and Chicago the next two weeks...I'll be competitive but I don't expect a winning week.

I don't blame you for trading the pick...I think most just found the timing to be puzzling.

You and I seem to have different philosophies on starting from the ground up. I've not been very aggressive during the season because everyone in the league isn't going to offer you anything that is going to hurt their team. Teams only want stuff from your team that will help them and then offer you stuff they don't need right now. The better stuff is available in the offseason. To trade for trade sake during the season is a charade...it's window-dressing. I've not made improvements because the opportunity to improve isn't there right now. I'll do some mild tweeks if the deal is right. The time to improve is during the summer when everyone wants to make deals and the cap restrictions aren't there. We don't have to be under the cap or under the player limit until the next season starts. The summer is a free-for-all...lots of opportunities to make some significant moves to make a jump up the food chain.

I think my dealing during the season proves that deals are there if you are willing to pursue them. I've been very pro-active in my trade talks with other people. I agree that more deals will be made during the summer, I'm just loading up as best I can between now and then. Some people trade for the sake of trading, I agree. I'll do any kind of trade if the value is there.. I'll upgrade, downgrade, side grade ( only if I really like the guy coming back to me).... Every little trade making a small win, atleast in my eyes, to improve my club.

6-9-1 against the 4th best team in the league when I had 4 guys not play...not too shabby. Albeit, my expectations are about as low as low can be but it's something. Maybe just maybe I'll hang onto 29th place with 3 weeks to go.

WTF, now i manage to lose goalies stats even when recording the same numbers of my opponent?!

SV% is 0.928 for both teams, shouldn't that stat be a tie?
