OTT WPG + CAR have to assume at least one is a lottery team in 2018 could have been a nice way to kick start a rebuild, but too many rebuilders here so good on Paul to always try and improve.

That would require patience. Some people don't have the patience to be a rebuilder.

And the people who do enjoy rebuilding can't once their current project is off the ground running ;)

Oh well. Guess I could leave for a year.

Have some pride in ownership and make the Flyers a contender rather than just a playoff team. I think you can do it based on how much better you are from when I first joined.

Boring. NJ is ripe for the picking for someone with talents such as mine.

Why not just tear down Ur own team if u wanna rebuild so badly

Because the aspect of rebuilding from nothing is what appeals to me. If I were to break my assets down, I would still have a significant base to build from, far more than what NJ currently offers.

The challenge would be to do what I did with Philadelphia, again.

Then why when the last gm wanted to keep a couple pieces from NJ when u tried swapping him teams were u so against it. If u wanted Tl start from nothing anyway?

I wanted teams to keep their own assets. The only thing that was swapping was that I'd keep Philadelphia picks and he would keep NJD picks.

I really dont see the problem with Lee wanting to switch and improve a team in this league. It only benefits the franchise in the long run. He has a proven track record.

He hasn't even made the playoffs? Yeah, price was injured, but every team gets injuries.

If we say Lee can rebuild, there is then a precedent. If 5 other people wanna jump teams next season do we allow it? We've all ready said yes to 1 person, so how can we say no to others? Suddenly it will become a flimsy looking amateur league.

How many teams have Shiv and Kareem ran? Precedent has already been set. Precedent is set with every new non documented decision. Only I am not leaving the league due to a loss of interest. I want to remain in the league with renewed interest, while making a once well run franchise get back to that stage. I don't see why playoffs are the bar for me switching teams or why it's brought up in the conversation at all. You seem to be the only one ever bringing it up.

It's not like I am trying to abandon a shitty team for a better team. Quite the opposite, really.

Taking a team from shit to mediocre in this league is easy. But taking that next step to being a contender is way harder. I can see why your pushing for this so hard. You blew your load on the current build, you had the deepest prospect pool in the league got impatient and sold too early. Now you are completely dry to further improve it and have nowhere to go so you've built up this whoe idea that you are a "rebuilder" who needs another new roster to start with becuase you dont want to face the reality that you need to tear some of this one down to try and move forward. Which isa tough thing no doubt. But stand by your team and stop with this bullshit. Its getting really tiresome to keep reading.

Sorry, the playoffs is me saying you haven't rebuilt anything. Yeah your team is better than it was before. But 9th or 16th in a conference... who cares? Same shit.

But you're correct, probably has nothing to do with a team switch.
