Wonder how much money from the stars would have kept him in dallas.

He doesn't want to play for Ruff. Ruff has 2 years left on his deal. Koosh signed for 2 years.

If it's just a matter of not being a fit with Ruff in Dallas and he returns eventually, it's not the end of the world. I hope he tears it up in Russia and comes back...he'd still very much be in his prime years.

If he came back in two years this could actually help him in the long run. It can be tough to develop playing in the NHL. He can go be the man for a few years.

Im generally not a fan of people who dont wanna be strong enough to prove a coach wrong no matter how unreasonable they get. He has no contract. He is from Russia. He owes the NHL nothing. His job is to make money, and try to be happy in his life. You can't spend your entire life trying to prove something to someone else.

And I meant it could help him develop as a player, not person.
