I feel like Filip forsberg making 6m @ 6 yrs and Andrew shaw making 3.9m @ 6 yrs are too close. There should be a larger difference between. Those 2 contracts.

These don't make sense.
it's like they messed up when they established the amount of money needed to tend qualifying offers, and with a tight cap it became an issue

Glenn Healy & Damien Cox removed/fired from Sportsnet team.
P.J. Stock, Billy Jaffe, Chantal Desjardins, Corey Hirsch and Leah Hextall were the other on- air staff to be released. The 5 p.m. NHL Saturday pre-game show on Sportsnet 360 was cancelled. And Sportsnet president Scott Moore said five producers were laid off as well as other behind-the-scenes workers, bringing the total job losses over the last three months to “less than 14.”
