This just in to dismiss the legend going on
Phil, Malkin, Letang - all made multiple bonehead plays. That doesn't mean that all didn't have a great playoffs imo.
I know, but Phil and Malkin didn't get glorified for their steady and dependebale defensive play.
And despite getting an A and +1 on an EN tonight, Sid was still a minus player at the end of it, unlike his teammates.

Phil was excellent defensively, TSN have him 30 mins worth air time on how his game has evolved. IMO Phil was excellent!

Crosby was Crosby, which means he was usually better than phil.
Phil also played against an opposing teams bottom pairing defensive unit; where as Crosby played against the opposing teams top lines and units.

he sure was not in the games I saw.

you really seem to buy into that Crosby's cock sucking fest lol.
I love how that argument only comes up for him.
Also funny how Malkin was outstanding in the past any time Crosby was out injured. I'd guess at least in those circumstances he was facing top pairing D lol. But maybe was not paired with nowaydays' Kunitz and Rust either..
