Yashin has an offer on the table from an NHL team.

@dchesnokov
Dmitry Chesnokov
Alexei Yashin's agent Mark Gandler tells SovSport Yashin has an offer from one NHL club. KHL's SKA didn't extend his contract.

Doubt it, seems the agent's trying to drum up interest.

I said the same about Jagr, and it turned out that I was wrong. I wonder if all of this has to do with the declining revenue of the KHL that is prohibiting the KHL from paying their players top dollar or because of the financial uncertainty with the collapse of Dynamo.

Jagr's a hell of a lot better than Yashin.

That has little impact on whether or not Yashin re-signs in the NHL.

Really? One's ability has nothing to do with getting an NHL contract?

Unless the same team was bidding for both, the ability of Jaromir Jagr has no bearing on Alexei Yashin getting a contract, no.

You brought up Jagr as a comparable for Yashin, which he is not.

It is a statement, I didn't think Jaromir Jagr would re-sign in the NHL, and he did. Period.

Sure.

My point: Yashin's agent is lying.

As Staff..
I vote nay on his HHOF status. Too good a team infront of him and not enough spectacular numbers to back it up, we'll see though.

Joey Crabb also signed on a 2 way with the leafs.
