He also could get moved back to W in the future. Kadri will still play 1C against other team's top comp until Matthews is ready which should be 2017-18.

JVR/Kadri/Marner/Nylander/Matthews Things are looking pretty good up front. Still have PIT 1st, TOR 2nd (31st) WSH 2nd PIT 2nd and OTT and SJS 2nds in 2017 too. Lots of assets to play with whenever they switch gears and try and win.

It's obviously worth your while. The trade for will completely transformed his rebuild. Right now you have 4/5 good pieces and a bunch of scrubs. Trading that pick could bring you a slew of 5/6 more good pieces.

I look at this as a very important offseason. I've got 15 picks in the upcoming draft...all in the top 152. For all the prospects I coughed up this year to add players, I have a good chance to refill the pool. I have a lot of free agents so I'm not quite sure how many holes in the lineup I'll have until we get to July. I'll get rid of some dead weight along the way as well. I've got a lot of decisions to make. Plenty of people will be interested in the 1st overall, Bennett, Subban and maybe a couple other pieces. I want to be done with this finishing 30th thing.
