So with all this buzz about Kaberle to Boston and Dreger and Mac confirming. Whats going to Toronto from Boston? Please post your predictions and when nothin happens we can all laugh together...lol

Heres my prediction:

To TML: Joe Colborne + Boston 1st for Kaberle. And I will state, that is a big overpayment for a possible UFA rental.

To Canucks: Mark Stuart or Johnny Boychuk for picks(s)

Just read a tweet from Chicago media saying a deal is near(minor) and also a Boston reporter tweeted that Stuart to the Hawks will be done soon. who knows....Maybe Stuart for a late 2nd which would even out the Kelly trade. Give up D depth to secure third line center. not bad if it happens.

Twitter also reporting that Boston/Toronto are getting close and IF it goes down it looks like it will be tomorrow. - as per my TSN boys McKenzie and Dreger.

IMO we only get the 1st if they've been allowed to talk extension with Kaberle (not that its in ink, just that they got to test the water already).

My dream return is Wheeler & Colborne, but I gotta figure the big centre is the piece your organization has extra of, and ours needs badly. Also unlikely that you keep your own first this year, given the top 5 and already relatively full pipe-line, not that it's an issue of having too many good prospects -> but a cup shot this year is better.

I'm not a HUGE Colborne fan, his size and hands are interesting though. Probably their best AHLer making him the piece that Dreger/McKenzie are suggesting.

Unless they lose another dman I do not see the canucks making too many deadline deals. I sure as hell hope they don't get Boychuk, IMO he'll be a rock in a few years time. Thrust into too big a role this season has shown lots of gaps in his game, and he's probably tired right now... but he'll find his form, it'll come back.

LeBrun is posting that he talked to his boston soruce and asked if the kaberle deal was done and was answered with No Way, but Bruins still front-runner for kaberle.

ah jeez...this is gonna stress me out till all finished. Either way seems like Bruins and Leafs could be two of the busiest teams this year. I would be fine with the Wheeler and 2nd for Kaberle. Wheeler and Kessel would connect nicely.

Fan 590 reported that same deal you guys posted. Bieksa gone for three weeks too. Canucks blue line dropping like flies. if there is uncertainty with Hamuis and Edler, I can see them getting a replacement.

Kyle if you guys get Kaberle.. you're going to love him. I truly feel he'll be much more consistent playing alongside Chara.

FTR I want Ryan Spooner first and foremost, even if it means that is all we get.
