Not winning the cup in game 6 or 7 totally sucks beyond beleif, something you leaf fans haven't been alive for to experience.

The Canucks had an amazing year; best in the league at alot of categories, winning the west and back to back scoring leaders.

I'm proud to be a Canucks fan, I'm not proud of what those "Canuck fans" did last night.

Back to the series, I knew coming into it we would lose not to the bruins but to Tim Thomas. The guy is a wall this year. Bruins defense didn't shut us down, 30+ shots a game. Too bad the Sedins decided to only show up against SJS, and I wish Lou could play clutch in clutch situations.

Overall I'm dissapointed in the playoffs, relieved it's over and proud of the excellent season of hockey I got to watch.

love Marchands quote:

“I think they got really cocky,’’...“They thought they were going to roll over us. We hated them so much. We really did. Just so cocky. And we prevailed. We kept on working. It was just everything about them — the diving, hitting Horty [Nathan Horton], the whining in the papers. But you know, we took it, we went with it . . . stuck to our game, played our game, and won it.’’

Lou didn't steal the show, true enough and for 10m and signed until 2022 people expect him too. However the Sedins were not dominating players, despite piling on the points (in a few games). Add in kesler being great at shutting down but failing to light the lamp and suddenly the difference between the high scoring regular season team and the stat paddin playoff shooters is easy to underhand.

Everyone supporting Sedins for the heart need to watch more hockey - stats do not ever tell the whole story.

I feel bad for Kesler and Bieksa, they really battled hard and then some - but almost every player on Boston was giving it that extra battle, playoff's are the real test.

Huge congrats to te bruins - hope you enjoy it Kyle.

Kesler was nothing special other than against the Preds. He was there, but he defintiely needed to contribute offensively with the Sedin's being invisible.

simply put, boston wanted it way more, seemed like every play they made in game 7 worked out in their favor, chara finally decided to play, ahahah, his stick and big ass kept getting in the way of everything, every loose puck in the boston end a bruin got to it first and moved it out, they took very few infractions, it was the perfect road game...

unfortunately for vancouver they decided to play another average game and it was the fourth of the series and they lost, you really cant expect to win when you take that many nights off, sedins were competing at least i thought it was one of their better games this series and henrik actually laid a good solid check on chara, but at the same time the canucks did not get any bounces, not even a little bit with anything, any little momentum they could mount was quickly squashed by one of their own mistakes or a bad bounce against them, and after the 3rd goal they were totally deflated and were just goin through the motions...

really this series should never have gone to 7 games, often times don cherry is wrong but he did say something very intuitive, and ive heard him say many times, when you dont finish a team off and you let them hang around it gives them an incredible amount of confidence and by the time the series is near its conclusion the team that was the underdog looks like the favorite and the dangerous thing about a good underdog team is they can have a strong killer instinct when given a chance

Even if that's split 5 ways... 5k for a nights work...even if they grabbed my ass every time i walked by them I'd be cool with it. (no homo...but what happens in vegas stays in vegas*)

I personally find the tip requirement pretty sad, their job is to take orders and bring food+drinks. As long as they don't fuck up they get a 15% bonus based on how much you spent? And it's worth complaining about if you don't? Disclaimer now: I tip and I tip well, but rarely am I truly happy that everything costs 20% more then the list price because of this social/cultural trend. Even my favourite local pub/bar "El Furniture Warehouse" where all the food is $4.95 and the drinks are reasonable... 2 beers and a taco... $15 or so... but basically gotta buy the waitress her after shift meal with the tip. Anyways, that's my opinion...a super easy job that a good dog could do and we are expected to tip in order for them to do it well next time. Hardest part of their job is being expected to stand up for most of their shift/rant.

Being a waiter/waitress is not easy lol. On a busy night that's 5-8 hours of serious stress, douche bag people and usually zero breaks. As for the tipping, its now worked in to almost every place that they have yo share those tips with the kitchen staff and what not. So if someone does not make the 15% on too many tables this money now comes out of their wallet and when you are making 9 bucks an hour that definitely worth bitching about lol. There are many jobs I feel are overpaid, this is not one of them. If you don't like tipping go to Europe or Australia lol

Waiters/Waitresses make less than minimum wage (usually) so tips matter immensely.

I have to say that Groupon is the best way to eat food. Spent 20$ on a 40 $ meal, then only had to pay an extra 3 $ out of pocket. Gave her a 10$ tip.
