Marty Brodeur is on OTR and he is praising Kovy big time, he even mentioned that Kovy was a "great addition to our (NJD) locker room". I think it's safe to say he is a good locker room guy.

Rumour is 6mil per year which works out to 17yr $102mil.

First and Foremost I never complained about soccer and its lack of goals. Yes goals are exciting but the fact that their arent many makes each goal that much more exciting. If I said I hated any part of soccer it would have been how big of pussy's they are all diving around that would be it.

Also just because you pass the puck does not make you unselfish, it makes you unselfish with the puck totally different. Mogilney is lazy, he never backchecks and for fuck sakes ruined a teams chemestry by sleeping with a team mates wife. If you want that on your team great.

Kovalchuk is a great talant and I think he is GREAT fit for NJD. On every team you are allowed one of them. That was my point and for a rebuilding team that will soon have to resign alot of their young core, a large contract would not be a good move. It would be a premature move imo. I dont think they are ready to win now, they could easily be the st. louis of this year and take a leap back. to go out and take on a massive contract in a "win now" mindset, would again to make my point be premature....although I think you fully understand that term.

On another note it seems all to easy to call someone an "idiot" over and over while sitting behind a computer desk, you keep saying it so it must be true right. you are the sean fucking avery of this league dude, you have zero fucking honour. Same shit as Pronger, Hossa Deals. He doesn't, he retires when he wants with his money.
If a deal is signed before 35, then the hit won't stay on the Devils cap once he retires. So pretty much if he retires in like 10-15 years hes made like 95 million, and leaves just a bit on the table. He knows he'll retire before 44, so does the rest of the world.

Its a loophole, but tons of GMs are exposing it now.
He has a one year without his NTC which is a window to move him by the devils.
