I'd want more than Tarasenko and Rattie for Lupul.

This year is skewing player values. A proven top line guy should always pay more than an unproven high draft pick, imo. Its a buyers market and shits going crazy...lol

BBKL shocks me sometimes. The fact that there is a bidding war for Tarasenko isn't what surprises me.

But when names like Moulson and Lupul are being thrown around, how are people going higher than that? Just insanity.

I would hardly call Lupul or Moulson cap liabilities. Just like ROR. They're all proven h2h studs. It's shocking to me that a Tarasenko thread gets more action than my ROR thread/Anton's Lupul thread. Not to mention, it almost seems like BBKL considers Tarasenko to be worth more than the two based on the offers. So ridiculous.

I know the deal I'm likely going to take. Received the offer about a week ago. Just wanted to see what people would throw out there since there has always been interest in him.

Can't say I've been dissapointed with any of the offers.

i woudln't pay anything for Taraensko, but that's simply because he's russian and i avoid all russians.

that said, i understand the stance kyle has taken, i've taken it with my ELC guys as well.

and it's not that moulson or Lupul are cap "liabilities", it's just taking on a 4-6mil player can be hard for any team this summer, esp if you're trading a guy making 1.5ish on an ELC.

Definitely lol. BBKL has improved drastically but some still haven't caught on it seems. Tarasenko should not see better offers than ROR or Lupul. Ridiculous.

Lupul is awesome but I'm not adding my only good forward prospect to go with tarasenko. Especially after the year rattie had.

i've also said i've rejected offers on Etem/Gallagher that are very similar to this...one from boston cam being Wheeler.
