I hope he gets like 2.75 ish. Franson getting 3.5 puts me over by 0.6M lol. But it says until training camp in the OP for a reason. Might make 1 trade around then if need be. All my cap-friendly players should be at their peak in value around then anyways.anton wroteCOLONso what happens when franson gets 3.5 and puts you over the cap then?
It's still July so all people are trying to trade for are home runs. Wait till September when GMs really feel the crunch and pressure of a season starting.
The sub-3.5M cap guys on my team like Brodziak, Nielsen, Sutter, Korpikoski, Okposo, Penner, Gunnarsson, Klein, Alzner, Franson will all become massive value pieces, which they are not being treated like right now.
Which is why I'm just going to wait.

I don't understand why you and Steve feel the need to make threads proclaiming that you are done trading. Can't you just stop trading without proclaiming it to the rest of the league? It's not like the rest of us are waiting by our computers in eager anticipation of your next move or trade block.

Very close talks with cliff and mike today, even chatted a bit with fla chris.
Heck, even talked duchene for subban with shep.
I said stop making offers to stop the madness with a select few in this league.

Of the teams in this league, about 3-5 contenders are under the cap, rebuilding teams have their rape hats on because they know everyone else needs to shed and the rest are way over yet still want to rape trades while cutting cap.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONI don't understand why you and Steve feel the need to make threads proclaiming that you are done trading. So while I hold a major portion of the cap-friendly pieces along with Steve and Nick, I'm dropping my assets out of the trade pool, while the GMs of this league scramble.
It's going to be fun to watch.

i must admit, i do admire your dedication to trying to make this look like a strategic decision and not just the result of everyone turning down your terrible offers.

That is all fine, but couldn't you do that without this thread? Now if someone offers you a deal you can't refuse, and you accept, you will look like a jackass. It just seems like you could have made your life alot easier by saying nothing.SuperMario wroteCOLONOf the teams in this league, about 3-5 contenders are under the cap, rebuilding teams have their rape hats on because they know everyone else needs to shed and the rest are way over yet still want to rape trades while cutting cap.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONI don't understand why you and Steve feel the need to make threads proclaiming that you are done trading. Not even making home run deals until training camps. My players' values won't peak till then anyways.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONThat is all fine, but couldn't you do that without this thread? Anyways, let's move along. This thread wasn't supposed to go 2 pages. To quote Steve, "lock it up Shep."
