If there is one thing i could teach a new GM who is fresh to the league. Dont look at your team and think trades right away. Take 1-2 months and dive through our trade history, ask around and understand this league. You have a great team to build from there and dont fuck it up.

Berg's advice is good. Common urges are wanting to put your mark on a team, get younger, rebuild, build through the draft, and to sell everything for today without reasonable value understanding. Key is patience and learning to handle your team.
