Seems like things are progressing...it's either going to happen soon or we'll have some atomic meltdown. The fact they are throwing offers back and forth and are still talking...how can you not be a bit optimistic?

all it takes is a few maritimers to end a lockout.

I'm not to sure if any of you caught Bettman's press conference, but i tend to agree with a lot of what he said.

I'm to the point where i'm sick of both sides, but i think the players have rejected 2 solid offers from the owners.

Yup the players are pretty much to blame now.

Aaron Ward is hard to watch, it's not hard to tell he's a former player. At least he's passionate. That said, it's pretty sad to see both sides end talks, especially if they were 'close' last night.

I wonder if Fehr still thinks that little press conference PR stunt was a good idea. He now has to call the players and tell them the make-while as a CONCEPT is off the table - it no longer exists haha. would love to be a fly on the wall there.

Bettman kept it real...really interested to see if the players try to bargain or decertify. The league wants long term stability...I don't know what more the PA would want.

Bettman's press conference was awesome. Explained everything really well and makes it clear that the PA was fucking around with the offer. Almost reminds me of Frank when he'd say "Hey buddy, I need a little more."
