especially the 40 goals part? What?

He had 27 goals in 61 games last year....

and 53 points in 61games lol. I don't think it would be that big a stretch to say he goes 40-45 if he is healthy.

Yee tru but I just don't think 40 goals is that easy of a task... i dun think u can play the projection game based on his sample size because players don't always keep up with their pace til the very end of the season.... For example James neal just barely topped forty goals last yr and he had to play extremely consistently with the likes of making letang etc and almost never missed games during the season.... therefor I dun think 27 I'm 61 automatically translate into this "easy", 40goal season from hall like that.

The think I am doubting is his ability to stay healthy lol.

If he's healthy its possible, I'd say 35ish though.

First year he twisted a knee in a fight...freak injury.

Second year a teammate steps on his fucking face with a skate...freak injury.

He also had the shoulder injury at the end of the season which I can't remember how he got it. So even if that one wasn't a freak one 2 of his 3 injuries have been random freaky ones. Nothing to worry about imo.

You would think that a player of Halls calibre would be able to increase his production from the previous season. He will be getting top line minutes playing with Edmontons best offensive forwards. These forwards, lets say RNH and Eberle also have another year of experience and development which is going to make them even more dangerous.

40 isn't out of the question by any means.

who said anything about an "easy" 40 goal season anyways :P?

From previous predictions: 40G wouldn't shock me for Hall. Tarasenko at 60 would lead the blues in points, that seems like more of a stretch, baring a systems change.

Seems like my whole team would qualify for young stars :ugeek: , so I'll just throw out some of mine that are improvement # and not consistency.

Jamie Benn: 31G 52A 83pts
Patrik Berglund: 22G 27A 49pts
Jeff Skinner: 35G 35A 70pts
Colin Wilson: 22g 33a 55pts
Matt Frattin: 18g 21a 39pts

Tarasenko might be a stretch for sure, but he is also my pick for ROY.

Wouldn't surprise me if he ends up being their most dangerous offensive weapon either. The kid did ridiculous things with 10-12 minutes a night in the KHL playoffs. If those skills transfer over to the NHL ice surface, watch out.

With regards to your predictions. Benn is definitely going to have another fantastic year. Wouldn't surprise me to see him hit 80+.

PS. Paul...80 max for Hall is my max prediction for this season. I could see Hall touching 50 a couple times over his career.

Tarasenko would be lucky to hit 50. Not because he doesn't have the skill, but because the team is way too defensive for anybody to shine offensively.

Perron will lead the team in scoring this year, though.

On my team, anybody going into their 2nd year at most:

G. Landeskog: 51 pts
A. Galchenyuk: 3 pts
R. Murphy: 2 pts

Basically I'll have no rookies on my team other than the 9 game tryout at most, and 1 sophomore.

You expect Murphy to be sent down?

Ditto on Perron leading the blues, i expect 65ish outta him, then the group at 45-55 of Backes, Oshie, Berglund, Steen.
