I cant believe how little you guys want Lou, he instantly makes you a playoff team. I think most of us are saying that we want Lou; and that we want to pay as little as possible. The scenario where he doesn't retire once his game is gone to shits is a very negative one for any team, and why his trade value is likely rather low.

I was telling Bryan yesterday, if I was Gillis there is no way I'd trade Lou; I'd offer Schneider + 26th for 1st (even add a d prospect like CONNAUTON or ANDERSSON) and have an absolutely monstrous team next season; Edmonton should probably take that deal as well.

Vigneault has already pegged Schneider's promotion to #1 goalie as permanent this year. Bobby Lou has to move or he becomes the most expensive backup in the NHL.

Personally I don think its up to Bobby Lou, if Vancouver wants to run with Cory they will regardless of Bobby Lou's NTC. After sitting long enough I'm sure he'd waive it to be a #1 again.

Put it this way. Gillis was trying to convince Lou to stay which would mean, Cory would want out. This is up to Lou and imo the fans have him at his witts end. Cory looks great but Lou has proven he can carry a team throughout the season, Cory hasnt proven shit. Looks great dont get me wrong but I go with the evil known every time.

If he's worried about the fans, why the hell would he want to go to Toronto?

Because Toronto actually loves goalies... when they win (which Lou does a lot of); we're not the goalie graveyard that VAN is -> we crucify d-men.
