I don't know much about Brad Lincoln, but the Pirates fans HATE the trade. So that's gotta mean we did alright in the Snider deal.

R.A. DIckey just signed an extension. Barring a physical looks like the Jays' next blockbuster is gonna happen! For those that haven't heard yet:
To Jays:
R.A. Dickey
Josh Thole
To Mets:
Travis d'Arnaud
Noah Syndergaard
John Buck
That would give us a rotation of: Josh Johnson, Dickey, Brandon Morrow, Mark Buehrle and Ricky Romero

With Tampa trading Shields, I think you guys now have the best rotation in the AL East. I'm very glad the Tigers kept Sanchez...overpaid...but kept him. If you want to contend this year, you have to 3 or 4 quality starters at a minimum.

Toronto officially acquired Dickey, catcher Josh Thole and Minor League catcher Mike Nickeas in the seven-player trade that was announced Monday evening. The Mets received top catching prospect Travis d'Arnaud, right-hander Noah Syndergaard, catcher John Buck and Minor Leaguer Wuilmer Becerra.

it sucks to lose d Arnaud and Syndergaard, but the jays might have the deepest pool of pitching prospects in the majors; and on top of that JP Arenciabia is still only 25 or 26. IMO he has Mike Piazza upside.

oh, i love the deal, last years Ace is this years #5 in the rotation. Ramero should be better suited towards the bottom of the rotation, it will be really exciting when Drabek comes back and is fully healthy.

Cecil will be a call-up type of guy, maybe used out of the bullpen eventually. He hasn't quite lived up to the hype.

Objectively speaking, Cincinnati, Washington, Detroit and San Francisco have stronger rotations.

Think he meant prospects, not MLB rotations

I did mean prospects, thanks Josh
I also think our rotation is better than Cincinnati's,
San Fran and Det go 1 - 2 with no clear winner (for MLB rotations).

On what grounds is the Jays rotation better than: Mat Latos, Johnny Cueto, Homer Bailey, Aroldis Chapman and Bronson Arroyo?

one starter i'd like to have from cinci is Cueto, i believe he was once rumoured to Toronto at one point.
