Not so much the case any longer.
And this.
Anyway, does anyone have a link to the draft list of the teams? or at least to the resulting lineups? (not to skills competitions lineups, which i suppose to be different)

That's disgusting if true. Sens fans are all bandwagon fans anyone.. unless they're under 20.
Hey now, the Belak thing I can't confirm, but I have been a loyal homer since I was 12, hence 10 years of solemn cheering in the heart of Leafs Land.
There are many Leafs fans that are just as bad, to judge an entire fan base on a handful of idiots is moronic, and hypocritical given that many of you criticize the treatment of all Leafs fans on that very basis.
Imagine how hard Iafrate would've been able to shoot it if he was using a composite stick? I bet he'd ramp it up over 110mph. Iafrate was freakishly strong and had amazing technique when it came to the big slapper. MacInnis maybe too. These new sticks give guys like Alfie the ability to shoot over 100mph. Ridiculous

Iafrate shot it 105.2mph with a wood stick in 1993. I'm sure with the sticks today, he would've ramped that up quite a bit. I think that's Shea Weber territory, no?

Agreed. Iafrate would be better than Weber.
I don't think I said otherwise?

I'm not sure, and would be interested to see the difference these sticks make at the extreme flex's. No doubt more players can get the sticks to maximum energy transfer (Breire with a 65, Ebbett with a 63, kessel with an 82, etc), as shown by Alfie's 100mph which I don't think he was doing with less advanced sticks (although other similar sized guys were ball-park there with wood sticks as well - Bobby Hull for example). My understanding suggests the biggest advantages come for wristers through lower (technology) moved flex points, quicker-back-to-centre action as well as over-all feeling (continuous weave from blade tip to shaft - no homo - through to plug). I do not doubt less energy wasted/lost but do wonder if EVERYTHING is better about the new sticks (aside from durability - which we saw during the hardest shot, both switched sticks, Shea had one fail).
