but w/o the picks he still has the best prospect system in the BBKL by some margin.

Eakin
Filatov -> being kind here
Nino
OEL
Miller
Strome
Morrow
Smith
Schenn
Salak
It's a good list...but not what Shiv owns.

Shiv's farm is quite easily the best in BBKL, not sure why Chris is laughing...

Schenn, Niederreiter, Miller, Poulin, Ekman-Larsson, Cole, Strome, B. Smith, Salak, Marincin, Kucherov, Danault, Morrow. That's not even including the above mid-tier guys like McRae, Goloubef, Barberio, McMillan, etc.
Let's not forget that I'm going to be taking a top-two pick of either Yakupov or Grigorenko, as well as Mik's 1st if his team is as bad as some people think it is.

Outside of Couturier, Landeskog, and Huberdeau, I really don't see the elite upside of his prospects. Name players, really. I got Schenn, Strome, Ekman-Larsson (who I wouldn't trade for his entire defense), and Nino. Cowen, Rundblad, Dalpe, Adam, etc... these guys are pretty good prospects, but certainly not elite.

Etem is scoring at a higher pace then schenn did in the dub - over rating junior performances two years post draft is silly!
Awesome prospect no doubt, give me nazem or niño though!

It's not about scoring, Nick. It's about the overall ability of one player who can hit as many categories as consistently possible. I couldn't care less about kids who rack up points. Otherwise, I would have given up those assets for Huberdeau.

And for the record: Schenn, B. Smith, OEL, Niederreiter, Miller, McRae, Morrow, Marincin, and Danault project to be consistent H2H performers. Whether they all make it by next year is the question.

Honestly... Schenn doesn't currently project as an awesome h2h-er... points, check, fow, check, shtoi, check... not big hits, pims, bs...and def not breaking into that Philly PP anytime soon, nor PK1 anytime soon.
Nino in a big way, Smith in a big way. OEL wicked BBKL value in points from the back end...dunno about the rest of his #.
anyways, if that was saying etem won't be good h2h IMO you're also mistaken there, he's more physical then brayden (post 16/17 year old season) and shiv's got some real money prospects there... Rundblad and OEL...kinda a toss up... anyways, we should get our own thread for arguing prospects, always more interesting to avoid ones either of us currently own though -> impacts views I find.
