It will be so fitting, before the match-up and even during it Nick was talking some mad shit. He expected to increase his lead with this week's match-up.

The way this year is going so far i wouldn't consider a guaranteed win from any BBKL team. It has been very strange to say the least. Detroit blows my mind. I'm on the Shoalzie train. I wish i had my Calgary pick back...

I still think certain teams are going to win alot more often than not, but there is no longer one team, or a group of teams that is so much better than everyone else that they cannot conceivably be defeated. In years past that group extended to about 2-3 teams, this year that group is closer to 7-8, IMO.

Talking shit Kareem? That seems like a huge overstatement.
Pls backstrom play tonight vs sharks. Pls. Make it a high scoring game. Pls.

You were talking about increasing your lead before the matchup, and after the first night were complaining that Mik's "scrizz" players were outproducing your all star team. That is Kareem level trash talk, not sure why you are being defensive about it.

Please quote accurately.
His scrizzes and his stars are scoring is what i said, while i have multiple very high scorers doing nothing.
10-4-2 was my self-serving prediction. And I said that'd be better then what you manage. If I'm wrong it wouldn't be the first time!

I will cut off my testicles and post the video on YT if I don't finish better than 10-4-2 this week.

If I lose that many points to WPG, I don't deserve to have testicles in the first place. So metaphorically speaking, I will be castrated regardless.

Kareem, i wouldn't let your hopes rise high.. Nick's team is scary and doesn't have any injury, he is still the heavy favourite to win 5 of the categories i'm currently leading...
as for those he is winning already, if i had Omark and more GP for Malkin and Gaborik maybe i could turn around STPTS and Shots, but not this week i guess.
When the lesser team plays shorthanded against a healthy top team and has the worse GP-schedule the upset becomes really unlikely.. i would still be fine with some sort of split of the pts, having to face Tampa, NJ and Toronto as extra-conference games i need to survive at least one of those match-ups to compensate the lesser Eastern opponents most conference rivals will play.
And Nick, Backstrom will indeed play tonight.

No injuries?
Jordan Staal?
Bryan Bickell unable to play the other night - no explanation that I could find

Bickell was a HS and isn't Staal expected to play?

As expected, Sulzer scratched and Wild dominated by the Sharks .. losing ground, but still there after 4 days.
I need all possible help from Marian & Geno tonight.

Backstrom still had a very nice sv%... GAA is still legit as well... I hope he plays again and brings that up a little for me!!!
As per any close week, it could all come down to Sunday.
ANA vs MIN in particular; but Giroux playing is almost always a good thing for me, Hall, Fowler, Bickell, Gillies and Okposo vs Scandella & Sbisa for sure and maybe Backstrom*, Sulzer, and Omark.
I'm really beginning to dislike +/-!!! LOL stat is ruining me these last 2 weeks.

Mik's team is even out doing yours in offense. Going off tonight. This would be an upset for the ages if he is able to pull it off. Gotta say I love the under-dog role and hope he does it.

My good players are playing like shit. My shit players are invisible and Pavelec is back to pretending that he's an NHL goaltender. All is well.
