I might be reading this wrong but are you blatantly saying if you don't win you are going to leave the league because that is not cool..
is there some kind of a rule that prevents teams from trading away all their long term future? I mean, could teams trade away all their 2013 picks already? I hope that's not the case, we probably should also inhibit the chance of trading away 2yrs ahead 1st rounders..

good luck in finding a new long term committed and participatory GM for Detroit should Shoalzie leave in the future.

You can trade 2015 picks if you have a willing trade partner...

but honestly I know i'd pull out the veto card in some circumstances. Lets not get silly here.

Depends on the trade, we've had a strict policy of not vetoing trades unless absolutely neccasarry, that is not going to change.

trading away next years waiver picks or 3 years from now draft picks is straight up dumb. given the turnover rate of GM's in this league we need to be very careful in this regard.

I made sure to ask a couple CC guys before accepting a trade from Kareem including the first 2013 pick. I'd say that's getting a little sketch.

Okay, for the 1st overall pick in this year's entry draft I'll offer my 1st rounders from 2025-2030

Knowing my habits I'd probably take that.
