that's what I was thinking Shiv. Bill didn't seem like the type of person to just disappear off the face of the earth like this...
We have waited quite a while. We have also exhausted all mediums of communication.
aight.

We really did give the benefit of the doubt with Bill as he was a great GM. We are not exaggerating at all when we tried everything to get a response. He even signed on after we had sent multiple pms, emails, calls, texts..etc. It is a total mystery as to where he went and for what reason. Kinda sucks as he was a good guy...

Spread sheet is finished. Just need to know what you guys want me to do next. I decided I don't need to put Mursak on IR (too much to bother with tbh), and will send him down to the minors.

My bet is that it's one of the following and hopefully not what Tony suggested:

1) His internet has been fucked.
2) He's on vacation but forgot to notify us.
3) Some really urgent/important family stuff came up.

Honestly, I think he just got bored. He told me a few times that he does trades because he needs to entertain himself. I guess he figured he had enough of the cheap thrills of trading and decided to move on without telling us.

He disappeared off the face of the earth. not on MSN, no email replies, we called him, texted him.

He's a nice guy. He would have said something .. not just bailed.

Yea, Bill was always cool with me. I'm just saying that you guys are looking for an horrible excuse to justify the absence, but not really asking whether he got bored. IMO, he got bored. Shit happens. No big deal. He could have just told us, but whatever.

well.. he used to be on xbox all the time as well... just saying it's weird the depth of his silence; perhaps he switched cities to return to school somewhere - whatever, no hard feelings, but we wanted to wait a reasonable period before finding a replacement, too much turnover in our GMs IMO -> the exact opposite of the purpose of a KEEPER league, not a 1, or 2 or 3 year thing but rather a tenure to fulfill our NHL-GM fantasy and ego's!

My hypothesis is that bill is dead.

Two flaws in that theory. One - his phone didn't go straight to voicemail when called. Two - he stopped posting in September, but still logged in a couple weeks later.
