Are we talking about claims going directly to me and I handle them? What happens if I want to claim someone?

League needs more transparency , not less.

not a bad point Lee...it's kinda creating a situation that could be an issue.
I just hate the concept of placing a claim after doing my 'homework' and then any GM with higher priority just needs to read my post (which is marked as new...perhaps we can make it an edit an old post situation?
Lee is there a topic in specific which you feel needs to be more transparent ?

The CC in general.
Regarding the waiver priority, it's there to help the worse teams get better.

Did you read Mike's post? It specifically states that a new account will be made for these exact purposes, and it will not be checked until after the completion of the waiver period. So let's say you were in charge of this, you cannot check it until after the waiver period for X player is completed. It does not impact your ability to put in a waiver claim, nor does it give you the edge.

No, it isn't. The admins create a new account, and we refer to it for the order of waiver claims at the end of each period. It is rather simple actually.

And this proposal reduces that, how?

If this is an issue, forget that I posted it. I enjoy invisible waiver claims because:
a) I feel rewarded for my own research
b) It provides a competitive edge
c) It counteracts against those who would rather take advantage of someone else's research, which isn't much different than "a"
d) It adds a level of authenticity
But if Lee can explain how this detracts from transparency, I'd love to hear (read) it.

There is not one single person in this league that puts in more due diligence work than myself and i think silent waiver claims are a terrible idea.

I guarantee that there are...That point aside, you have yet to make a valid argument as to why the invisible waiver claims are a bad idea.

You're avoiding how it detracts from the core need for transparency.

ok im back. and durunk. waiver hidden is a bad idea beauase you would wait for like hald the year and thne pick someone else up. iyts a bad iuea because the legue should be focused on th bad teams getting better instead of the good teams getting better.

I really don't care. I think I've made one waiver claim in the history of the league.
