Pretty sure Kadri is no longer eligible for the Calder.

My list:

1. Luke Adam
2. Cody Hodgson
3. Ryan Johansen
4. Erik Gudbranson
5. Jonathan Huberdeau
6. Brayden Schenn
7. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins
8. Matt Frattin
9. Martin Marincin
10. Adam Larsson

I'm shocked at the number of guys I've omitted. Dustin Tokarski, Nino Neiderreiter, and David Rundblad are three others. I thought about Markstrom, but I think the Panthers are going to do a slow-development with him - he lost some development time last year.

Also noteworthy: Siemens, McIlrath, and Smith. Smith should be up there on my list - maybe above Frattin.

It's because they are hockey "experts".

Siemens McIlrath and Smith likely dont spend any time in the nhl this season
only one who has a chance this year is Smith

You could very well be right about Siemens and McIlrath. On Smith, I think there's a very good chance he makes the team coming out of camp. By all accounts, the Red Wings organization wants him to play with Lidstrom before the old man retires.

Commodore and Kindl are fighting for the 6th/7th spot with Smith. Can't see Commodore being anything but the 7th man with Kindl having all kinds of issues sticking.

White's on the 2nd/3rd pairing. I don't think the Wings mind having the best defensive prospect on the 3rd pairing.

here's my list

1st.Gabriel Landeskog- he's gona be a heck of a player and gona play the most out of any rookie.
2nd. Brayden Schenn- should see arround 16 min per game.
3rd. Nino- the kid is 1 year older and so stick with the team on the top 6.

my dark horse are;

1st. Tomas Tatar- He should be able to make Detroit.
2nd. Adam Larsson- gona play top 4 minute for D.
3rd. Branden Smith- might play but got the skills to dominate in the nhl.
4th. Ryan Ellis- a bit small but he got wheels so doesn't matter. Will get is chance to break out.
5th. Sven Baertschi- should make the team out of camp but the question is will he stick with the club more then 9 games.

Landeskog

I watched him alot last year in Kitchener and the kid is the complete package. Plus with such a weak COL side this year he's going to be given every opportunity to succeed. Can't wait to see him in the NHL this year.

If Frattin makes the team out of camp it wouldn't surprise me to see him put up a strong rookie season (25 goals, 20 assists).
