I will also go with Felix Potvin for most underrated goalie of the game. Don't forget Hasek and yes I said hasek since alot don't put him as the top or number 2 goaltender of the history of the game. Hasek was a brilliant goaltender. The most underrated goaltender now Tim Thomas but before winning the Cup.

LOL ya hasek was always given the credit he deserved. Felix wasnt underrated either....He was loved in Toronto until he lost him game and could never get it back. Probably the worst two picks ever frank.


Just had to watch the Felix vs hextall fight, man was that awesome.

I have to agree with Koivu being todays most underrated player with a shout out to Patrick Elias, that guy never gets any credit.

Yeah I listed Elias with John Madden at first then cut him because I wanted to pick one. Madden really wasn't given enough credit IMO. A guy like Draper who had a very similar career in a very similar role got far more attention.

I still can't fucking believe we lost the year we had Sundin, Roberts, Mogilny, Nieuwendyk, Francis, Nolan, Leetch, McCabe, Kaberle, Domi, Tucker. What the fuck?

So many of those were over the hill though, mainly leetch, Francis, nolan and nieuwendyke and mogilny to a lesser extent. We didn't have enough creativity to get the players who were experienced enough but at the same time not totally injury prone. Look at every one of the guys I mentioned they had all won cups except for nolan but they were in the twilight of their careers.

What you say about them being over the hill is true. However, even at that age, those players IMO formed the best team on Paper. We just couldn't solve Philly.

Leetch was still beast when he had him.
