Pane of glass just blew out. Someone upstairs, about five floors above me just told me that a strike hit her windows (it's all metal frames here).

No internet, turned off all lights and computers. Ambulances outside right now. Apparently someone got hit.

I just drove from Sheppard/Keele back up to Newmarket after that lights at our indoor soccer game went out through the fucking storm. Insane.

It was quiet as fuck in Newmarket, but lightning all over the place. It had rained, no thunder.

But it's picking back up. Basically what I drove through is up here now.

Apparently a tornado touched down in Mississauga.

We got to about 10 min left 2nd half then they called it. It was so dark we couldnt see the ball here in Guelph. There must have been 3 lightning strikes per second it was insane. Amazing to watch except for the facts I was driving down the highway in a metal car...

FINALLY got to TO late last night and was forced to stay there over night due to another retarded storm!

NYC is going to get hit by hurricane Irene, around Sunday morning/afternoon. Should be fun, it'll only be a category 1 by the time it hits, but a hurricane is a hurricane.

Be glad it wasn't europe. I've been grounded for things ranging from a volcano to honestly 2 inches of snow when I was there.. Stupid country shut down with 2-3 inches of snow.

Year n half ago was the worst travel story of my life.

My flight got canceled within the UK, I tried to take a subway which then closed down as a water main burst. Then I took a nice 160 dollar cab ride (more than my canceled flight cost) from the airport to the train station, and paid 3x the normal fee for a train. The train took 4 times longer than it should have (12 hours.. longer than I was even in the air), the whole time I have barely slept. Got home was pouring rain all my shit is soaked and my suitcase broke. Opened my door found a letter saying I was being sued and due in court tomorrow. I promptly passed out.
