Talking to frank reminds me of this one episode of the office where Oscar is trying to explain a budget issue to Michael. Oscar explains it but Michael doesn't get it so he asks Oscar to explain it to him as if he is 11. After he still doesn't get it Michael asks Oscar to explain it to him like he is 5.
