I hate the name wild, only thing I was trying to say. I dislike the logo alot as well.

It's arguably the most creative logo in the NHL.
It's got the wildlife background within the logo, without making it look busy, along with with the "North Star" which everybody knows about Minnesota.
From an artistic point of view, it's Top 3 in the NHL.

I think the new Minny name and logo suck as well.
Maybe I'm alone - but I liked the North Stars. Jersey, logo & name were nice.

not alone my friend. Just as the dallas stars have had nice jerseys and logo's since they took it over.

Bittersweet ... Jets were my favorite Canadian team growing up. Well ... least-hated.

Yes, Kane referred to himself as a Jet to all the Manitoba and peg fans -> throwing it out there that he hopes that is the name.

The cheapest seats in the MTS centre are more expensive then saddle-dome, rexhall or scotia bank - but that's failing to look at the seats, which are MUCH closer with fair superior viewing of the game. Also their most expensive seats are cheaper then anywhere else in Canada.
The average price to attend a JETS game will be under $55...
I watched the entire press conference too on TSN. I think it was the TSN Panel that did the comparison. They showed a chart/list. Anyways, I can't find the information on TSN but here's a link from CBC that says essentially the same thing.

True North is offering seven tiers of tickets ranging from $39 in the nosebleeds to $129 for the best seats in the house. That translates to $1,775 up to $5,805 for a season ticket.

those cannot be right... i've looked into seasons for van... 41x60 = ~2500... i was looking at 3700...and not awesome seats....
