Well. I'm a hockey fan first & as such will be enjoying the Stanley cup finals as I always do.
Regarding fan interest - despite your personal subjective feelings, the # are way way up, both in USA an Canada. Boston and Vancouver both have big sell-out streaks, iirc Vancouver's streak is 2nd only to minny in the western conference (who I believe have never missed a game).
There are still single seats available in the box-office, as they've been on sale for a
short period of time. Remember the schedule is still fairly new; Rest assured both buildings will be full for both games.

$197 for upper bowl single seats in Vancouver - if you are a blueline club member. $1900 is scalper price for nice lower bowl seats, and if they are selling for it, then that's what they are worth - obviously someone has the money for it.

also if you know how to find them at the box office please post link. Ticket master and every other place Ive tried have all been sold out, even standing room. Craigslist or scalpers is likely how I will get one

Wow, if you two say you will not be watching the cup finals, you are not fans of hockey. You are solely fans of the Maple Leafs. A super successful and stacked Vancouver team going against an original 6 team and both on long cup droughts. Both with top end talent in all positions and both tough teams. This is a perfect matchup for any fan. I call bullshit on your both by saying you wont be watching.

As of 9am this morning if you are a Canucks blueline club member ($150 yearly membership fee to have priority purchase on Canucks tickets - after the season ticket holders) there were single seats to be had - dentist who just destroyed me grabbed a ticket this morning.

Yea, I watch every game every year as long as i can remember. I am usually jealous with envy wishing it was my team and it just so happens the Bruins have a chance this year. All one can ask for is a chance because it does not come easily. the bruins are expected to lose by most which makes my viewing a bit easier as anything more i will be pleasantly surprised. I'm gonna rock the under-dog role.

Good stuff Tony. I imagine it would bring joy to you seeing the Canucks be taken out. Me too. I have a very good feeling that the Bruins will surprise a few. Lucic is gonna breakout in a big way. He will be Luongo's Byfuglien nightmare. Along with Chara and Horton. oh baby.......i am so fucking pumped.

Well apparently Seguin feels the same as Kareem and Lee. Says he would stop caring or watching once his team, The Leafs, were out. He was a die hard Leafs fan. Imagine what he would have been like on the Leafs? crazy...

You are just cheering on the Canucks because they are the closest geographical team to you, still alive. Way to easy to cheer for the presidents trophy winner and big time favorite. That way if they win everyone can say how awesome it is an how they knew all along. Too easy. You need to cheer for an underdog who when they upset, you can get near triple the enjoyment.
I mean if you want to cheer for Canada, cheer for the Bruins. they have like 16 or 17 Canadians on the roster and Vancouver has like 12. Bergeron gets his cup to go along with his Gold. Recchi gets to drink his special bottle of wine he has been saving for his last cup that is worth thousands and thousands. some 1970 shit.. Timmy gets to experience the other side of the outcome in that rink.

I didn't stop caring when the Leafs were out. I stopped caring when teams I like were out. I was cheering for TB and SJS. I'd rather not watch hockey then watch Boston and Vancouver.

I'd watch a final between any two teams.

I still call bullshit. No way in hell you dont watch the stanley cup finals. Could be between Florida and Minnesota and youd still watch.

I'll catch the honor roll on tsn.ca or take a gander at the box scored.. but not wasting 3 hours atleast 4 times on 2 teams that I can't stand.

I'd watch the finals if any other combination of teams were playing for the SC, but I refuse to watch one were my least two favourite teams are in it. I literally can't win either way, so I will be studying for my mid terms and watching baseball the next two weeks.
The argument that I am a Leaf fan first is a moot one too, since I watch non-Leafs games, and junior hockey practically 7 days a week during the hockey season.

Don't know where you got your info from. The tickets to game 1 and 2 are now the most expensive ticket in NHL history and are sold out lol. I realize this is because Toronto hasn't been in a cup final since they started charging admittion as they would smash us in price but to say no one cares is incorrect. Both teams have massive fan bases and any time an original six team gets in it has importance. Just cause this is a worst case scenario for leaf fans doesn't mean everyone stops caring lol.
I think he is just trying to piss you guys off, of course this final is going to have a large following. Every SCF does, not to mention that these are two of the biggest sells in the NHL this season, save for Montreal and perhaps SJS.
