Lebda had a similar stupid moment, leafs on a powerplay Lebda tries to deke and go in 1 on 4..
That being said Lebda and Komisarek have both been playing much better in the last 5ish games.

Its hard to get the ingrained sense of fear and dread in you out. Took me a while not to cringe on EVERY shot after watching Toskala's last year.

I was at the game tonight.

It was so boring until the 2nd half of the 3rd.

all it takes is that 1 moment for the entire 3 hours to be worthwhile tho.

i went to the game against cgy back in jan. was scoreless through 2...a complete snore. then cgy scored and i thought to myself "did i seriously pay $75 to watch a 1-0 loss"...then grabo tied it with 12 seconds left and i lost my mind.

that 2-3 mins of insanity made the entire night worth it...even after losing in the shootout.

You say that as if I'm going to be so pissed off if Phaneuf regains his form from 3 years ago. I'll love it.

He's done very little in his 70-odd games as a Leaf to make me think he'll touch 50 points. Makes bad pinches all the time, commits himself to open ice hits all the time, gets caught out of position, beat down low constantly in our own end.

At least now his work from the point in the offence end is improving. Get his shot low, hard and on net which is very encouraging.

Hes been great the last few games to be honest. His defense reading of plays is still questionable at times, but if you see his rushes and his shot selection he looks so different from earlier this season. How much of what we saw earlier boils down to a confidence issue as well as an injury issue?

I'm starting to see the talent is very much still there.
