your harping on the leafs a little quick there Kareem.... Boston has done that to everyone, including the insanely skilled caps.. twice in a row..
explain florida then lol. I know they won their game but by know means was it a "yea totally deserved that" win. I thought they supported their dman better in the first but totally lost that once they fell behind.

mr. bruin wroteCOLONThat is so stupid The media look like uneducated idiots wen they bring that up. It wasnt Kessel for Seguin. To do a straight up comparison is stupid. It was a good trade for both teams and the balance of this wont be known for years. Leafs got there man and Bruins got lucky that the Leafs sucked last year. That pick enabled them to trade there own in a package for Horton. I know it will always be a Phil vs Tyler deal but the smart people know better...

So what you are saying is it was essentially Kessel for Seguin + Horton haha. kidding but you are soo right when you say that trade allowed the horton trade, makes it seem like the leafs made a rival even stronger. Now what will they get with this years pick? Murphy?

To be fair, the Leafs probably don't make the Phaneuf trade without Kessel, and the 1st round pick is not all Boston gave up, they also gave up Wideman. Given their prospect pool, and current group I think they make the Horton deal even without the 2nd overall pick.

This is going on three seasons now...The Leafs are terrible against a trap team, instead of dumping the puck deep and getting dirty, the Leafs try to generate offense with stretch passes through the middle, and provide poor puck support to one another. Ron Wilson refuses to adapt to the oppositions style of play, and it is infuriating as a fan to watch. I called the exact nature of tonights game, and it's not because I'm psychic.

Not to discount the Bruins play, but if the Rangers can beat em, so can we...
