2. The Edmonton Oilers are a business, therefore every decision they make is a business decision, but that does not preclude them from also making hockey decisions, Omark was one such case.

i only wrote between brackets that he is a better player than other forwards the Oilers kept on their roster, which is a very obvious thing, i didn't start any argument. You were the one doing it, as most times happens lol.

No, that's a fact, the Oilers are a business that make business and hockey decisions. Omark wasn't one of the better players according to the coaching staff, and the management, to say anything to the contrary is speculation. Look up the word, if you don't understand the meaning of it.

I questioned the validity of a point you made, you rebuted, that is an argument, I don't care who started it, that is irrelevent. What is of relevance is determining who's point is valid, you have yet to approach anything nearing a coherent and valid argument, and that is why you don't wan't to continue the argument, not because we disagree, but because you are flat out wrong.

I have already pointed out that three players that made the team out camp had contract options, MSP and Eberle can go down to the AHL, and Hall can be sent back to juniors. Yet the these three players made the team, as well as other youngsters on D (Theo Peckham) and in goal (JDD, Devan Dubnyk). So quite clearly this wasn't an issue of "asset management." Linus Omark wasn't one of the top 6 players on the Edmonton Oilers, and since he is not defensively responsible enough he did not factor into the third line.

Every team does what they think is the best for the organization, it doesn't always work out, but that doesn't then make it right to question every move made by any organization, nor does it give you the right to question their decisions in favour of your own, when it is quite clear that the individuals operating the Edmonton Oilers, or even a monkey for that matter, are more qualified than yourself.

Citing the Oilers position in the standings last season only emphasizes the fact that you are overrating Linus Omark, must be a helluva player if he failed to make the starting six of the worst team in the league...
