Re-reading last year's finals thread it looks like the matchup was incredibly close up until the final day. Looks like this one will be too.

Saturday's Leafs game against the Pathers will be a big one, need Campbell to allow 3 or less.

Very good matchup so far, fellas. An Oilers-Avalanche game tonight...always root for a fun game when those two lock up...and I suppose it'll affect this matchup a bit too.

what's going on with the playoff bracket in Fantrax?
it's only showing final round.

Did we even have one last year or in previous years? We don't exactly automate the playoffs through the site...we just manually feed the matchups in for each round.

Now that we're back to a 1-8/2-7/etc. conference setup...I think we can better utilize a bracketed playoff system on the site. I don't know if the site allows for reseeding after the 1st round and if we can tell the bracket to take the two division winners and lock them into the top 2 seeds in each conference.

What I'd hope is next year we won't have weird things happen to our regular season such as the Olympic break not happening and we had to reshuffle our schedule around the assorted Covid-related issues from this season.

In theory, we should be able to schedule the first 21 weeks/periods as our regular season and then have the playoffs start after that. If we can get the site to run the bracket for us, great...but it's not a true bracket because of reseeding, then we end up having to run the playoffs ourselves.
