Miller played an insane # last year and carried his team to the playoffs.

Brodeur does 60+ every year, ditto with Kipper... I hope Hiller does this year.


The Phi/Chi example are brutal, as neither team even gives a shit who is in net...

I'm far from being in a pinch. The season hasn't even started. I'm not over paying for an old back up.

50 games last year and playing behind often injured dipietro. They are also doing a rest tactic with him to help save him, one day on one off including practices. With this system it all but garuntees roli 30+ games if dipo stays healthy all year, turco will play 70....dunno seems like a no brainer to me but who am I to judge right. I obviously know nothing about that team.

Apparently what Mashley said is true. Common sense isn't so common. But when in doubt, refer back to the ole "well I guess you are in the locker room / direct contact" schtick.

Didn't Buffalo lose in the first round 4-2 to a team with no offense?
Didn't New Jersey lose in the first round 4-1? Brodeur looked horrible. Again.
Calgary didn't make the playoffs.

sort of a post expected from Kareem who borrowed an image from the Tony book of Photo's, which I must say I have grown VERY interested in someday personally exploring this book.

Also Shiv, the reason I didn't wait for Kezia is quite clear, the level of enjoyment was MUCH to high watching GM's scramble in search of a 4th, I must say Kareem's sucessful approach was quite impressive. Sometimes I think if Kareem and I were to write a book together that it would be PURE GOLD.

Toivonen isn't my only option and the puck hasn't even dropped yet. Like I said, maybe if it's 20 games in and I still have 0 played from any of my goalies, I might be concerned. Right now, I'm not over paying for an old back up goalie.

I was watching a movie with my wife when all of this went down. I certainly would have paid a 4th for him.

ross seems like a steep asking I agree... but 3rd + ahl goalie.... not really..

I agree with Scott.. I got the ducks goalie system, not worth me trading away unless i have another goalie system coming my way... Only Miller/BUF & Lundqvist/NYR are more preferred iMO, however there are lots of comparable (ward/rinne/ entire dallas system).
