harding does not have a starters role this year. and ill be SHOCKED if anyone on the planet will ship you a starting goalie for comrie. you will have to give up just as much if not more than what you received for turco/khabi. very poor gming.
Poor Gming? Really? Did I say anything about a starter for Comrie?

?

i got wisniewski, ashton, and corrente for niemi.

sexton, della rovere, 2nd would not have done it...not by a long shot.

my poor gm comment was in reference to: "you will have to give up just as much if not more than what you received for turco/khabi."

what is the plan here? trade away your goalies for assets then hope to stumble upon a gm stupid enough to know you NEED a goalie to not lose the value of your 1st in 2011? you have basically traded down two spots in the 1st round next year by making these trades. no you will have to trade up two spots if you want that pick's full value. and i bet every gm knows he can make you pay through the nose for it. you didnt get a great return for turco and now you traded away khabi. so ill ask again. whats the plan?

everyone says they are buidling a young team... but it makes no sense in a league with this much movement, unless its for cap reasons.

Im always up for arguing anything kareem says but he is right here. You argued that I was ignorant when I said comrie was worth maybe a 2nd not a Goalie + 2nd + mix picks or prospects....maybe I am not ignorant, cause I am thinking it is you. it will cost you more than comrie to gain that goalie. In fact if comrie gets you a goalie than vermette gets me crosby

No I called you ignorant when you were ignoring all of the proof in front of you about Comrie playing on Crosby's wing.

Where does Khabi get me this year? Where do Sexton, Rovere and the 2nd get me over the next 5+? I'm not getting anywhere without taking risks, having my team raped made sure of that. Pretty much every risk I've taken so far has worked out.

They are saying though if you keep trading away players that help you this year you may not have enough games played and without enough games played you will be penalized and it can cost you that first overall pick your dying for

The season is still a month away. There is plenty of time before the end of the 2010-2011 NHL season. Gerber can still play in the NHL. Toskalol hasn't signed anywhere. I need 41 games. Harding has a history of 20 games backing up Backstrom.
