Paul makes decent trades...e.g. this is not a bad deal. But Paul always loses cycles and doesn't stick to a strategy to pull his team out of the gutter. Oh well.

Hi Paul -- you traded Backes + Skinner + your 1st in 2018 for just Ryjo. Great asset management as usual by the BBKL canes.

For him to go from Ryjo back to Backes + Skinner + his 1st in 2018 (which he will need to do as he is one of the worst teams in terms of total assets) is virtually impossible. So he has just lost value on his cycle.

Oh, maybe this is the reason my team stinks. I'll try and pay attention to that maybe. Probably not.

You trade player A for player B and player C...you then trade player B and player C in separate deals. The cycle is essentially what you end up with after make a series of trades originating from a single player or a single trade.

You can look at it like this...Paul now has Johansen, how did get the assets to get Johansen? What did he give up to get those assets? Were those original assets worth getting Johansen?

It's an old school BBKL term that we used a lot back in the day. Now all you new guys are here with your new thinking and new ways of thinking about fantasy hockey.

This is the only league where activity results in luke warm somewhere inbetween discourage or encouragment to do so
