Given he will have played games in either his 4th AHL season or 2nd NHL season after next year, I'd think he does. But we need to see what the NHL finalizes.

methinks so... why I was humming and hawing on it... will figure it all out by the time we have to expose guys.

I really think this will help parity in the league... funny how adding one team does that. But you will get good players exposed for cheap, exposure exempt prospects at a reasonable price. More lower teams with those assets will get good players who other teams don't want to lose for nothing. May in the end not help the expansion team, but they'll slowly come into form. Can't protect everyone.

Also, I'm curious as to what's gonna happen with the draft... what % odds will the expansion team get?

I've heard they will get similar odds to the 4th last team.
