Isn't Getz like 37

That's not a bad offer in all honesty.Bruyns wroteCOLONI offered Getzlaf for Dubi + Manning + '16 2nd + '17 2nd yesterday
Damn lol!Lee wroteCOLONI wouldn't take that guys picture, let alone his advice.
Guess I have to defend my player now after that slander job. Fantrax scores Getz - 3963, 4190, 4377, 3684 Dubi 3453, 2724, 3612, 2368. Significantly better every year with less injury risk and Getz also wins A, pts, SOG, GWG and that was the first year Dubi had more SHTOI and FOW. The 87 points was also in 2014 or 13-14 2 seasons ago so saying 2013 makes it seem like 3 years and i wouldn't call 13 less shots and 7 less points a sharp decline, it was a decline, but not at all sharp and more likely just variance from one year to the next. 6th best C in BBKL last year despite this "sharp decline" and 12th most points. He was #2 fantrax score C in 14-15 and #1 in 13-14. 6th is a drop, but not much of one and his style of play is similar to Joe Thornton in that he isn't all of a sudden going to forget how to play hockey at age 30, his big body and elite hockey IQ and playmaking means it is very likely he produces into his late 30s barring injuries.Lee wroteCOLONGetz hasn't been an 80 point player in a few years now. and has only been an 80 point player once in the last 8 years. He has seen a sharp decline in offensive production year after year since 87 in 2013. 31-25-13 goals. SOG follow a similar path.
As far as periphs
Dubi wins shtoi fow hits pim
Gets wins blocks stpt +-
I'll keep my assets, thanks.

Dubinsky was the 22nd ranked C last year, stayed healthy and had his 2nd best year statistically at age 30. I have no issues with you declining the offer, but making it sound like Getzlaf is not that good now when he is clearly an elite BBKL C who is top 3 over the last 3 years and still 6th in a year that wasn't his best doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I figure a top 10 maybe top 5C next year is worth a premium on a guy who has never even been top 20.
We weren't on Fantrax in 2009-10 and a quick look shows he was 64th for D and had solid periphs too. Maybe CBS had him rated high but Fantrax score is pretty decent at comparing the impact a player has if the GP are similar. Sometimes you want a specfic stat so you don't care if their overall Fantrax score is low a la Matt Martin but for the most part it's not bad to give a quick glimpse of how good someone is.Lee wroteCOLONBTW, fantrax scores are a joke and should not be used as a basis to judge players. remember when Jeff Schultz was a top 10 BBKL player based on a + 50 rating?
