Re: NINO
Larsson is the best prospect to come out of Sweden.
Ever.
This isn't me saying that. That is the best hockey minds in the world saying it. Refute it if you want, you are simply guys on a hockey forum.
You've been out to lunch on SOOOOOO many things that you've said dude.
His potential is not that of Hedman, who was the best Euro in what was/is referred to as the best swedish group ever:
Hedman
OEL
MSP
Rundblad
Josefson
Erixon
Johansson
Klingberg
Silfverberg
Lander
Lehner
Rodin
All top 60.
Mats Sundin & Victor Hedman are 100% the most touted swede prospects ever, and it makes sense: 6'6", committed, complete, skilled hockey players.
Sorry but I think that Larsson will be one of the best if not the best Defencement to come out of Sweeden.I would trade OEL or Hedman for Larsson. This kid is the real deal so for sure he's worth Nino ++.

By the way Thx for the sig....
Re: NINO
a) The pick is not Larsson, its a chance the pick could be him, Adam will need to put together an amazing year (again) to be #1, and Lee (PHI) is not the only team aiming at the bottom.
b) I'll put $ (any amount Frank) that Larsson isn't Nik.
c) Nino was #5 in a solid draft, Larsson is projecting top 5 in a weak draft (epic SEL year no doubt) neither is proven, but Nino has already shown up during very big games, and could potentially be a top 6 forward for G.Snow on the Isle as early as this year.
d) Your frigging crazy to trade OEL or Hedman for Larsson, he's simply younger.
e) EVERYONE, myself included, would jump on Topher if he traded Nino for that pick, let alone Howden & Tinordi... that's 3 firsts, one of them a top 5, for a potential top 5... Talk about retarded.

anton wroteCOLONkadri will end his career in their first meeting in the nhl anyway...
dont bother.
right, that whole racist/religion thing... too bad Kadri is 6' 180 and El Nino is 6'2" 210.
Re: NINO
My bold prediction is Ryan Murphy, IMO he's just a little too dynamic, he carries the puck with the stuff that legends are made of, and his end to end rushes are eerily Orr-like.bills09 wroteCOLONmeh Couturier will go 1st overall anyway.
however I fully acknowledge most likely -> 1.Larsson, 2. Cormier, 3. Zack Philips, 4. Boone Jenner, 5. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, 6. Seth Ambroz, 7. Ryan Murphy... however there is LOTS of hockey left to play.

I'd put money on Matt Puempel making the top 5 next season, and I'm continually amazed by how little hype Gabriel Landeskog garners, this kid could concievably challenge for a top 3 spot.facey wroteCOLONMy bold prediction is Ryan Murphy, IMO he's just a little too dynamic, he carries the puck with the stuff that legends are made of, and his end to end rushes are eerily Orr-like.

My sleeper pick for 2011 is Nathan Beaulieu, he's got size, speed and elite hands from the back end.
