Given salaries, age, and periphs. Saad >= Kane

saad's periph isn't guaranteed at CLB now
Kane has 557 pts in 576 games bro... lol
not sure if theyre that comparable even moving forward lol saad wont be a ppg career player but kane probably is for life. Even datsyuk scores at ppg nowadays (strangely he got better in his mid 30's)

If I could take one on my BBKL roster right now I would easily choose Saad between the two of them. That 10.5 is absolutely smothering.

also that's why you think saad is so great but wouldn't even part with reinhart + right :)

I view Reinhart at a complete other level than Nylander in terms of what I project in BBKL value.

Yea alright whatever. The reasons I don't like Kane or Nylander all that much are the same reasons that I like Reinhart as much as I do. See an absolute periph horse in him and whatever level his scoring is able to raise to will be a bonus. Has a potential to be one of those untouchable all around BBKL beasts, why I targeted him and chased him for months. Not moving him.

Pretty sure u publicly offered me reinhart involving Saad already lol. But u did say u were drunk

Think Nelson was involved in that one too. Have made cap structure changes that would make it impossible now. Reinhart's waiver exemption is huge for me. Plus my evaluation on him makes him untradeable for now anyway.

People get lost in cap impact but forget what security of scoring is.

Spezza, Kane, G, Sid, Ovi, Backatrom, Getz, etc - they score a shit ton, always. They get paid for that consistency.

10.5m cap isn't that bad surprisingly... 71.4M cap is HUGE. I have Kane, G, E.Staal, Ryan & Skinner + over 2M cap space..

Giroux, Ovi, Backstrom, Getz all do considerably more than just score in BBKL.

Not doubting the value in elite level scoring. But there is always some negative value associated with a salary that is not reflective of a players overall production level. In the NHL Kane is worth every penny, but for me in our format he isn't. And I would be better off going with Saad + another 4.5mil player. I know it ins't quite as simple as that, but I think theres legitimacy in it if you are making a cap team that hopes to contend.

Did he hit a lot in juniors? I didn't see much of him, but he is probably playing W at least this year since BUF has ROR and Eichel and likely doesn't put up PIMs, won't PK much as a rookie but could in his future. I don't see what makes him a periph beast.

Not meant as a post to bash Reinhart. I'm not familiar with him enough to have a strong opinion and was genuinely curious what made him a periph beast.

FOW and SHTOI I assume. That's probably more in the future though.

Reinhart isn't a physical player at all... He is a very smart player that should be used in a lot of situations though
