Chicago doesn't think so. Trading Raanta for him straight.
I don't give a shit about wat Chicago thinks
Like I said, you know my legit offer. U don't lose an extra nhler and will be able to upgrade to Saad FROM eberle if u put ur mind to it. I'll give u a 31 hour window to accept my initial offer

Shea Theodore is really really good. Adding him isn't just some casual add to a deal.

I never said it was a casual add.
It's an add definitely to think on.
Hes got pretty unreal AHL numbers as a young dman. I know. It's not a secret.
However that's the fun of prospect hype/projection you see.
Will he literally be Erik fucking Karlsson and do the exact same #s in nhl?
Of course every man child in us hopes so (Esp the fantasy owner of Theodore himself), its not something I don't doubt that you think of this in ur dreams.

However yes, you should take into cool headed consideration much like how spring training numbers in mlb mean jack, same should be considered for a young guns AHL number. Anaheim defense is simply too deep atm for Shea to break into top 4 or anything ridic like that.
But for me, the fact that he does so well in AHL as a 20 yr old makes value offset appropriate.

So ya

Been high on him since before I joined BBKL. I remember when Chuck was my trade advisor, one of our first talks I told him I was gonna get Shea Theodore and he was gonna be an absolute beast for my backend down the line. Well I got him last September/October, and he has only impressed further since then. Moving him isn't on my priority list, or upgrading wingers, lots of things I'd rather be doing from a team building standpoint. He and DeAngelo are big parts of my young core I'm assembling, when they push players off my roster it will be when I really start contending.

Looked it up. You actually didn't still have him but I was reading roster tabs wrong. Tried to get him into our Fehr + Downie for Savard and Gillies deal.

Hindsight you won our first trade there pretty big. But I ended up moving Downie + Harrison for Sekera and DeAngelo. So essentially Fehr + Deangelo + Sekera on my end and Sekera helped me land Reinhart. So overall I'm fine with the cycle.

Know what you got out of Savard/Gillies?

Fuck I knew I should have held onto Savard back then. Was too damn concerned with my terrible forward depth. I never would have imagined his offensive output, but even then I could see those periphs he was putting up and knew there was a good chance id regret it.

bc??
consistent 65 point winger who could be on McDavid's wing moving forward and a first rounder for a 50 point winger who had been on Chicago's top 2 superlines previously, but now wont be - Why wouldn't he take that offer?
Good he should score at a 60+ pt pace. Saad should score at a similar pace and do quite a bit more. Worth more than Haggerty as an add.

Eberle 75 point+ season incoming. Book it. After they fired Eakins he had something like 23 points in the last 21 games. Add the McDavid bump to the Oilers and were talking some dirt nasty scoring potential. Yea definitely second guessing that offer.

I think eberle scores more. And people point to Saad playing with ryjo, but no proof that happens. What we do know is Saad put up 40 and 50 points playing with toews or kane at different points. Eberle will play with one of Rnh or mcdavid. Also, Saad doesn't do a ton more than eberle.

Eberle doesn't score 75+ I can pretty much promise that lol! People need to temper their McDavid expectations in year 1 as well. 65 would still be great for the rook.
