Ah well, smith was just coming off like a 50 point rookie season at the start of last yr. Not a terrible offer at the time imo. Rookie season or second year anyways. Not exactly a franchise limiting move, but I do believe Reilly will be in a good spot this season. Beck will have a chance to show he's an NHLer as well and I love that Shanny/Dubas/&Lou are bringing home Ontario boys with some size/grit for the bottom 6.
