Definitely a fair deal. Not a Kadri fan, but he does fine BBKL-wise, Love coyle, but wonder if he garners Centre status this year with all his FOW and Moulson is the real wild card (wonder if Reinhart or Eichel can do what Tavares did for him).

Overall, I think I keep Giroux, but Shiv clearly has a few more moves with these boys in the coming weeks so no idea what to make of it haha.

Not going to get into it, but any one of:
losing your goalie
having Stamkos throw up zero's
Crosby get hurt
= sure way to lose the round, and 1 year I had all three happen at once.

Previously had guys like Benn, J.Johnson, Phaneuf, E.Kane, J.Staal, Tavares go down after our trade deadline and/or in the playoffs.


It doesn't matter who your goalies are if they are hurt, or if they have a shit week. I've had an awful experience even after having good-great goalie # in year going into the playoffs. Not somewhere that I'm going to spend a ton of cap or value.
