Monday, June 1 makes perfect sense to me...a few extra days to get this done early. The NHL draft is the 26th and 27th.

I think this makes sense. And then make it a precedent of either always the 1st monday in June. Or always June 1st so it becomes a known date going forward. I'd probably lean towards simply June 1st as it ensures ample time to finish before the NHL draft.
