Gelinas immediately steps in, replacing Coburn, and is capable of putting up 30 points, as he did last year, while swapping in and out with Holzer, McQuaid, Fayne and Hainsey, depending on his needs / games played that week.

I'd eat 95% of Gonchar salary and would be easier to trade him........ALL FOR THAT!

Easiest way would be to allow salary retention on expiring contracts. That way future GMs are not screwed.

I don't even want Coburn, to be honest, nor do I want to trade Gelinas.

Definitely a good idea to consider going forward. Would give a little representation to how pending UFA's get treated at the deadline to the BBKL.
