Only 4 goals scored...but 3 are game-winners.

Scott, what's your opinion on how nestrasil (I butchered the name, I'm sure of it lol) has looked so far?

Seems like he is holding his own. Are wings fans satisfied with his play so far( I'm hoping he sticks all year as I could use the depth.

Good size and he's quick. Seems like a decent fit on their 3rd line.

From watching him play I wouldn't call him sluggish.

Certainly looks like belongs.

He's slow compared to some of the rabbits on the ice. He's lost weight so I'm sure he's quicker on his feet than before. He's got solid skill for a bigger guy. I hadn't seen much of him prior to this year.

The situation with Nestrasil is going to be interesting. He'd have to clear waivers to go down to Grand Rapids and I think the only guy in the lineup who could go down is Jurco. I wonder if they just send down Jurco when Datsyuk returns since he'd displace a top 6 forward. Nestrasil would still fit on the 3rd line. Mantha should be back in a few weeks but I think he's ticketed for Grand Rapids until the Wings need him.

RnH missing 2gp lost me the week, 4fow woulda been a tie, 5 the win. Or 1G tie, 2 wins, ditto on 5/6 SOG, … a special teams point lowers the gap to 1. and let's not go into that 10 seconds away from a shutout thing (and potentially a W)….

I played the wrong goalie, dressed Lack over Gustavsson which cost me.

For what I can remember, he is certainly a below average skater in the NHL, unless he improved a lot in that department this off season.

knowing the Red Wings, I guess they will indeed send Jurco down.

The damn SOG stat keep fooling me. I never really understood how my all offense team managed to be so mediocre at that, and even adding Erik Karlsson and Streit is not enough to win that category against Winnipeg.

Anyway, a W to start the season was a first for my franchise, 2W feels pretty good.

Works for me as I own nestrasil hahaha.

If you watch him play Mik you would see he absolutely can play at the NHL level. He made huge strides at the end of last season and has carried that momentum into this season.

With that all said, if he didn't have to clear waivers he'd be the obvious choice to send down..

So are we going by head to head record (0W-2L), or points we amass in that head to head record (6 categories won)?
