only concern i would have is hall has been hurt in his first 2/3 seasons and is likely out for a month this season. if he can stay healthy this is a pretty fair deal

At least Hall was injured by a knee-on-knee hit and someone stepping on his face ... Marty Havlat hurt himself last season making a line change. His tripped over the fucking board!!
Lucic is a monster, but taylor hall is a franchise player.
Hence the mixed reactions I'd say, like I said earlier I thought I'd get slaughtered in this thread.

Just stick to ur game plan and don't really take any of what we say to heart. A lot of it is opinions and everyone's gonna hVe em.
Part of the fun of this league is exactly like you said...people will straight up let you know how they feel. Not too much pussy footing around.
Fwiw...I'm a big lucic fan so take that Into consideration when reading my comment!

But one of those picks projects to be top 3...we all know how great those are come draft day (cha-CHING). Also got anders lee. The chicago pick I also got in that deal will be top 10 imo. Not because of antons lack of gm skill, more so because he's decided to rebuild with a whole bunch of young studs who are taking some time to get in gesr

I think this is a fair deal. Lucic is an h2h beast but Hall is an elite scorer, I don't see a downside to either side of this deal. I don't think Taylor Hall will be a top 10 scorer on most years but he is definitely in a different class then Lucic so I would probably prefer Bruyns side. I don't get all the love for Steves side of the deal, it is at worst fair.

clarksons gonna have a very effective time here in Toronto. He is no longer going to be stuck playing in that putrid pit known as New Jersey.
Look at last night, Carlyle played him for almost 22 minues. Kid racked up a nice 8 hits + whatever else he did.
