I don't think they are all crazy... but h2h thoughts can do funny things.. I love the grinding forwards, my wingers are nothing but. However that's due to cap pressures not 'how to win the bbkl' preference - easy to say Landy after he just scored a few points too...but over the season losing those scoring categories consistently will put you out of the playoffs.

Much bigger gap in the periph cats than in the offence though. Sure there are more offensive cats, but Hall is only a little better on offence and Landeskog is way better at hits, blocks, SHTOI.

It's not like comparing Hall to Martin or Neil and valuing the periphs over the offence. I just feel Landeskog has the ability to only be 10G 15pts off Hall's offence while contributing more in other areas.

I'm not saying Landy isn't an awesome piece, just do not believe he's the better player. Akin to picking Backes over Toews or something along those lines...would love them both, but one over the other in terms of who is worth more.

Backes-Toews is definitely a good example.

Landeskog battled a concussion and I think another injury last year so that impacted perfomance. Not arguing against Hall as he is definitely the better offensive player and Landeskog might never be a consistent 60+pt player. Hall's wreckless style seems to make him a bit of an injury risk too and Landeskog is the type of all around player like Backes, Callahan, Kane, Benn etc. that I'd love to add and build around
