I value Frans Nielsen more than most people.
At Matt Moulson+, you've got that right.

We disagree on the value of Centres that kill penalties under 3M in cap while putting up 45 points.

don't need to make it personal, Moulson is easy to paint nicely as well.

There was not a ounce of anything personal in what I said lol. I was just pointing out that Shep and I disagree on Nielsen.

Jay Beagle at 900k, waiver exempt, and better stats is certainly worth Giroux then
Go ahead and post Nick

Jay Beagle posts 45 points does he? And Giroux is a gem this year at 3.75M.

What? Nielsen had 29 points in 48 games last year. Beagle had 8. Despite being a 2nd liner while Beagle is bottom 6, Nielsen also had more SHTOI. What is your point exactly?

I think part of the reason why everyone thinks my prices are outrageous is that we all build our teams differently. I value certain players very high because they are unique in what they bring to the type of team I am building. I don't have superstars/any players that would get taken in the 1st or 2nd round (maybe Kunitz and Crawford) of a Yahoo draft. But each of my players contributes to winning as many skater categories as possible.
No way could I trade a guy like:
Korpikoski that gets SHTOI from the wing without getting a scorer like Stewart back.
Grabovski who will be the 2nd line C in a deal where I don't receive a C back without getting a solid winger like Hossa.
Kunitz/Dupuis who are 3.75M but get to play on the same line as Crosby without getting a solid winger + another solid piece back. I may not have Crosby but I have created him in the aggregate with Kunitz + Dupuis with a 50-60% correlation in points.
etc. etc.

Don't get the hype on Korpi, a lot of players get shtoi from the wing.

Try naming players that get 40 points and 150+ SHTOI from the wing. Then take that list and count how many players are under 3M.
